The Ulster-Scots Agency, in partnership with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, present a celebration of the much-loved poet and lyricist Robert Burns.   

On the night, we will be joined by Christopher Tait, Scotland’s leading Robert Burns performer. For over 28 years now, he has been delighting audiences throughout the world – from Seattle, Toronto and Boston to Helsinki, Dubai and Singapore. He's shared a stage with the great Scottish comedian and actor Ronnie Corbett, performed on a yacht in the middle of Lake Washington, and led the Tartan Day parade in New York.  

Christopher is a regular visitor to Ulster, performing at schools and colleges and at the Linen Hall Library in Belfast. He has appeared with the Ulster Orchestra at the Ulster Hall and Waterfront Hall and his one-man play, 'Robert Burns Live' was filmed and televised in Northern Ireland in 2017. 

So, join us as we pipe in the haggis and enjoy poetry and stories from the mind of Scotland’s great cultural titans, followed by complimentary Burns Night-themed food (vegetarian alternative available). In short, if you’ve ever imagined watching Robert Burns live. Now you can!
