"Leesure" [Lee-sure] Meaning: Leisure
The Ulster-Scots Agency has launched a new Fund to help Ulster-Scots groups in Northern Ireland to deal with the financial and cultural impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic. The Fund has been made possible by support from the Department for Communities, which has allocated £850,000 from funds allocated to the NI Executive by the UK Government.
The Fund will support Small Grants (up to £3k), Language Grants (up to £10k) and Large Organisation Grants (up to £30k). We are open for Small Grant applications NOW and grants will be awarded on a rolling basis, with awards made until the allocated budget (£660k) is exhausted. The deadline for Language Grant and Large Organisation Grant applications is Wednesday 2nd December. To find out more, click on the links below.

Applications for Financial Assistance Scheme funding is open all year but needs to be submitted at least 3 calendar months prior to the start date of your event/project.

Applications for Partnership funding is open all year but needs to be submitted at least 2 calendar months prior to the start date of your event/project.
You can bring your application to the Ulster Scots Community Network to be checked. This service minimises errors within your application and ensures that all of your supporting documenation, signatures and information is correct and as requested within the Ulster Scots Agency guidelines before you submit it for approval.
