Covid-19 Recovery Grant Opens for Border Counties Registration

The Ulster-Scots Agency has today opened a funding programme for groups based in the Border Counties of the Republic of Ireland.

The Covid-19 Recovery Grant programme aims to offer support to voluntary and community groups who offer a range of Ulster-Scots activities including: Ulster-Scots groups, groups that have delivered Ulster-Scots activities in the last three years, marching bands that identify as part of the Ulster-Scots community, and groups who have provided their venue free of charge in the last three years for the delivery of Ulster-Scots activity.

The maximum grant available will be €2,300 and groups will be required to provide at least 10% match funding. The Covid-19 Recovery Grant will fund overheads including utilities bills and running costs, plus small items of equipment which will assist groups in their recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic.

The funding programme will close once the budget has been allocated or by 5pm on 26th November 2021.

Interested groups must complete the registration process HERE; once this is submitted, an application form and guidelines will be emailed to the applicant.
