Hosted by Megargy Cultural and Community Group the July Ulster-Scots Celebration will run from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th July 2013.
On Wednesday 10th July there will be an Ulster-Scots Concert in a marquee located at Magherafelt Orange Field from 7.30pm - 11.15pm. Artists include Session Beat, Clare McKinney Scottish Highland Dancer and Cranny Pipe Band will be on stage to celebrate this Musical History of Ulster-Scots in Magherafelt. Fireworks display in Magherafelt Orange Field from 11.30pm
On Thursday 12th July there will be Ulster-Scots Music all day in the marquee (11am to 5pm). Performers include Aughrim Drumming Club, Hugh Brownlow, Richard Finlay and Victor Brownlow.
