Job Opportunity - Director of Development

The Ulster-Scots Agency is looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to lead its development directorate.

The role will involve managing people and resources internally as well as relationships with a wide range of external partner organisations across statutory and community sectors to make the most of opportunities afforded to Ulster-Scots as a result of an evolving legal and political environment. 

The post holder will be specifically charged with leading the development and implementation of two of the organisation’s four strategic aims as well as performing a key role in supporting the Agency’s Chief Executive / Accounting Officer and providing advice to the Agency’s Board and Sub-Committees. As the organisation is part of a North/South Implementation Body, the post holder must also ensure appropriate compliance with the regulatory requirements of both jurisdictions. 

To be eligible to apply you must have: 

  • A degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, and;
  • At least three years’ experience in leading development activities within a business area or organisation.
