Burns by the Lagan - Tickets On Sale

The Ulster-Scots Agency invites you to join them at the Titanic Belfast on Tuesday 22nd January at 8.00pm for a musical celebration of the genius of Robert Burns, whose work remains cherished in Scotland, Ulster and around the world, even 260 years after his birth.

Scottish musical legends Eddi Reader, Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain will be joined by some of Ulster’s best young talent in presenting the songs of Scotland’s national bard against the backdrop of the world famous Titanic staircase on Tuesday 22nd January 2019 at 8.00pm.

This musical showcase celebrates the 260th Birthday of Robert Burns and includes performances by;

·         Aly Bain          

·         Cup O’Joe                                           

·         Andrew Calderwood                         

·         Kris Drever                                    

·         The Arco String Quartet                    

·         Kate St John and Sarah Allen

·         The Ulster-Scots Juvenile Pipe Band             

·         House Band including Ian Carr, John McCusker, Kris Drever and Kevin McGuire

In a ground-breaking development for Ulster-Scots, our star-studded event will also be recorded and form part of a TV programme to be broadcast by the BBC in Northern Ireland and Scotland on Burns Night.

Regular supporters of our Burns concerts should note that Titanic Belfast is a smaller venue than normal, so tickets should be booked early to avoid disappointment.
