Come all ye Lads and Lassies and join us for the "Burns" Weekend Celebrations. Join in the festivities and enjoy Scottish Folk Music, Songs, poetry readings at the Special Celebration Dinner Saturday 23rd January. Come and join the clans for the Shamrock and Thistle Ceilidh Night Friday 22nd January with Scottish Folk Music, Ceilidh Dancing and poetry readings and a light supper. Saturday 23rd January Burns Celebration Dinner. The evening will begin with a Welcome Drinks  reception and Scottish Folk Songs around the open log fire at 7.00 p.m. This will be followed by the piping in  the guests to the Top Table.  The ceremonial Parade of the Haggis led by our Head Chef is accompanied by the piper through the restaurant  on it's groaning platter where he will lay it before the Chairman at the High Table..A reciter will read the Address to the Haggis after which the Haggis is sliced open with a ceremonial dirk after which Chef and piper will receive a dram of the best whisky. The Welcome Grace is recited then supper is served with copious helpings of good ale, whisky and live entertainment by Ailsa Craig who will perform popular Scottish Folk Songs and tunes. A night of celebrations to be enjoyed by everyone who loves Burns and his timeless poetry.

 'Ailsa Craig' will play Popular Scottish Folk Songs and tunes during the supper followed by songs, toasts to the lads and lassies and the address to the Immortal Memory of the Poet..Time to refill the glasses, more Songs, Music, Highland Dancers and Readings till the wee small hours. The grand finale brings proceedings to a close with the traditional end to the Burns celebrations - singing "Auld Lang Syne".
