Significant Anniversary to be celebrated in Waringstown Kingshill Community Development Association in conjunction with Kingshill LOL 319 will host an Ulster Special Constabulary Cultural Evening including cultural music, BBQ and B Special re-enactment. The event to celebrate the twelfth festivities in Waringstown, the above Cultural evening shall be held on Thursday 8th July and will commence at 7.30pm. Weather permitting, the event will be staged outdoors at Waringstown Church of Ireland Hall, Mill Hill. In tandom with the twelfth festivities, the re-enactment display will coincide with the 90th anniversary of the formation of the Ulster Special Constabulary and also of significant importance, the 40th anniversary since the disbandment of the constabulary. A short parade of the B Special Platoon will leave Waringtown Orange Hall at 7.30pm and make its way through the village to the Mill Hill venue. A range of cultural music will be showcased including Lambeg drumming, Drumlough Highland Pipe Band, Banbridge Accordian Orchestra & various other acts including the re-enactment Platoon. In addition a cultural exhibition will be on display. This event is supported by the Ulster-Scots Agency. An excellent evening is guaranteed for everyone
