Tuesday 6 July

Tattoo from 7.15pm - 10.15pm at Greencastle Street, Kilkeel - A cultural tattoo featuring a selection of Ulster’s bands, highland dancers, tradition fifes and Lambeg Drums and drum majoring skills of former World Champion Alan McBride.

 

 

Friday 9 July

A short play based on the Battle of the Somme in Kilkeel Primary School at 6.30pm performed by students of our Schomberg Ulster Scots Summer School.

 

 

Saturday 10 July

Flutes of Mourne, J R’s Kickers, Ulster Scots singing group, line dancing, face painting and balloon makingfrom  6.00pm - 8.00pm at Lower Square, Kilkeel.  The Pageant is leaving Mill Road, Kilkeel at 8pm.  The Schomberg Fife and Drum band will lead the pageant, featuring soldiers, fifes, drums, pipers, traditional army battle train, horses and a pipe band.

 

This will be followed by an Open Air Concert at 9.30pm at the Mourne Esplanade and will feature Risin Stour,  Scottish dancers, fiddlers, pipers, fifers and drummers.

 

 

Thursday 15 July

Arts and Crafts, Football Coaching and Mini Tournament  takes place from 11.00am - 3.00pm at the Bracken Centre.  There will also be arts and crafts for young people aged 7 to 15 at Valley Rangers Football Pitch and the Bracken Centre from 11.00pm to 3.00pm.  It is advisable to book your place by contacting Sandra in Reivers House.  Administration £3 per person to cover a bbq lunch.

 

From 7.30pm to 9.00pm there will be a Lambeg Drum workshop in Reivers House facilitated by members of Ballyvea Drumming Club

 

 

Friday 16 July
