Wednesday 29 January 2020 7.30pm – 9.30pm Strule Arts Centre, Omagh Every year around the 25th January, people all over the world celebrate the life and legacy of Scotland’s Bard, the Ayrshire Ploughman Robert Burns. Come along to learn about his life and work, hear his poetry and songs, and find out about his relevance and connections to Ulster. Some of the traditions and formalities of a Burns Night supper will be demonstrated and explained. Featuring displays by local highland dancers, it’s sure to be “a nicht o quare crack”. These events, organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in association with Ulster Scots Community Network, are free of charge to attend.
