Ulster-Scots Music & Dance Tuition Grant

The Ulster-Scots Music & Dance Tuition Programme is open to voluntary and community organisations.  

The programme will support music and dance tuition from 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2026.  

Please note there are two separate funding streams - one for Dance Tuition and one for Music Tuition.  

Groups interested in applying for Dance Tuition should follow the link to registration here.

Groups can receive up to 75% of eligible costs. 

Following a successful registration, a link to an application form, guidelines, and a Scheme of Work will be automatically emailed to the group. 

Applications close at 3pm on Thursday 17 July 2025.

Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.

Ulster-Scots 2-Day Summer Schools Grant

The Ulster-Scots Summer Schools Grant aims to support community and voluntary groups who wish to deliver a two-day Ulster-Scots Summer School to children aged 7-16 years. 

The Summer Schools must be delivered from 1 July to 31 August 2025. 

The summer schools can hold up to 6 different Ulster-Scots workshops or activities, with a maximum eligible funding of 2 hours for each Ulster-Scots activity (a maximum of 8 hours). All summer schools must deliver an Ulster-Scots language workshop. 

Groups can receive up to 75% of eligible costs.

Applications close at 3pm on Monday 9 June 2025.

Application Checking

You can bring your application to the Ulster Scots Community Network to be checked.  This service minimises errors within your application and ensures that all of your supporting documenation, signatures and information is correct and as requested within the Ulster Scots Agency guidelines before you submit it for approval.
