Books for Scottish schools

THE Glasgow Ulster-Scots Society in Scotland has received grant-aid to purchase and distribute the full set of Scots-Irish Chronicle books written by author and journalist Billy Kennedy into all of the secondary schools in the Glasgow region.
  The books will be handed over to officials of the Glasgow education department at a reception in the city next month and the Ulster-Scots Society President Edward McGonnell describes the generous Big Lottery Fund grant for their initiative as a tremendous break-through.
