"Thran" [Thra-an] Meaning: Awkward
'Oot An Aboot' magazine is an annual publication. It has a very strong community feel – in fact the majority of articles are written by the Ulster-Scots community who work continually to promote the language, culture and heritage of Ulster-Scots.
The publication is a celebration of the number of successful Ulster-Scots community ran projects and by publishing this magazine, the Agency hopes to encourage more community led Ulster-Scots activity in the future.
The third issue of 'Oot An Aboot' is being distributed from 13 June 2011 throughout the province. Members of the community are invited to collect their free copy of the magazine at various distribution centres over the coming weeks - these will include Tourist Information Offices, libraries, selected museums and shopping centres - download the full list of distribution centres.
