Promoting Ulster in America

Lord Laird of Artigarvan, chairman of the Ulster-Scots Agency, has been invited to become the honorary patron of the Ulster-Scots Society of America.

The American society is expanding its organisation, with members now recruited in various states and anetwork of events and projects planned.

A national leadership council is in place and members are beginning to identify area convenors.

Lord Laird is delighted to be associated with the society.
