Successful Weekend of Ulster-Scots Showcasing

On Saturday 2nd June and Monday 4th June the Ulster-Scots Agency had a presence at two major events - the Centenary Lurgan Show and the Stormont Family Fun Day..

On Saturday 2nd June the Agency invited County Down based Ulster-Scots group Family Folk along to entertain the visitors the Centenary Lurgan Show.  They performed throughout the day and were joined by Kelly Forsythe School of Highland Dancing and a solo Piper.

Then on Monday 4^th June, the Ulster-Scots Agency and Foras na Gaeilge invited 'Bearnagh' to the Stormont Family Fun Day to provide a cross cultural showcase of Ulster-Scots and Irish music and dance.

Large crowds attended both events and the selection of music and dance was very well received by all in attendance.
