Community Arts Partnership is organising three...

The Arts Council has committed an additional £100,000 to the Intercultural Arts Programme for the 2016/17 period from its Lottery funding, primarily to take forward the Intercultural Arts Grants Programme.

 

Grants from £10,000 to £20,000 are available for projects of up to a 2 year duration and it is anticipated that there will be support for 4/5 projects in this application round

 

These information days are for constituted community and voluntary groups working at a local level across ethnically diverse communities and arts organisations with experience or interest in working in the area of Intercultural Arts

These seminars will provide information about:

Participants will be provided with a pack on Cultural Competence and there will be information about interculturalism, an intercultural approach and the benefits  arising from such an approach.

At the event participants will have an opportunity to

- Network and to explore possibilities for collaboration
- Learn about the Arts Council Intercultural Arts Grant Programme
- Learn about the Arts Council Small grants
- Learn about other potential funding.
- Learn from examples of intercultural projects and their benefit for individuals, neighbourhoods and society.

Structure:

  • From 10:30am to 1pm: Seminar style and opportunity for networking
  • From 1pm to 1:30pm: Light lunch
  • From 1:30pm to 3pm: Opportunity for networking and one to one funding clinic
