Talk on Ulster Scots Language

7th September | 7.30pm | Free
Ballywalter Orange Hall, Harbour Road

The Ulster Scots Language Society are presenting the launch of two books at this event. The books are “Oul Licht and other Ulster Scots poems” by Phillip Robinson and “On Slaimish an Ulster Scots Collection” by Jim Fenton

The evening will also feature music and crack. This event marks the launch of two new books by Phillip Robinson and Jim Fenton.

Ballywalter Ulster Scots Festival Concert

8 September | 7.30pm | Free but a donation would be appreciated
Ballywalter Pres.Church Hall

A Concert of music and dance featuring Ballywalter Flute Band, Michele Johnston Scottish dancers, Kirkistown Pipe Band, Donaghadee Fyfe and Drum, The Thompson Brothers. The compere Willie Cromie will be telling stories

An evening of music, poems and Scottish dancing.

Tea and coffee will be served.

There is a large car park beside the hall.
