Pipers and Tartans Breakfast

18 March 2017, 09:30, Brownlow House, Lurgan

Runs to 18 March 2017

A unique event is taking place on Saturday 18th March at 9.30am in Brownlow House, Lurgan.

It begins with a traditional ulster fry which is something many of us relish tucking into, with a big cup of tea or coffee!

This will be followed by a talk from George Conn entitled ‘Pipers and Tartans.’ Having played in pipe bands as a young person, George never lost his love for the pipes and drums, and frequently attends the many contests in the summer time. George was brought up near Portadown and has worked with The Faith Mission for many years.

His presentation gives a glimpse into the pipe band world and focusses on the Christian lessons we can learn from the highland piper and his instrument. George will also play the bagpipes.

Spaces are limited and these must be pre booked at a cost of £6 per person. This can be done at Brownlow House tea room or Portadown Faith Mission bookshop. For further information phone 028 3833 2806.
