Runs to 19 November 2016
Join the Ulster-Scots Agency at the Strand Arts Centre, Holywood Road, Belfast for the first screening of three short films about C.S. Lewis.
As part of the programme for the C.S. Lewis Festival 2016, the Ulster-Scots Agency will launch three short films about C.S. Lewis at the Strand Arts Centre on Saturday 19th November at 5.30pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
The films have been prepared by Heritage Experience, a local Larne-based social enterprise company, in association with the Ulster-Scots Agency and Macmillan Media. The screening of the films is a celebration of Lewis’s links to Belfast and Northern Ireland; together they ask important questions about the shape of Lewis’s early life.
An introduction to the films and the links between the three pieces will be provided by Sandy Smith, a Director of Heritage Experience and author of C.S. Lewis and the Island of his Birth.
Why not follow this short screening event with dinner at Canteen (special offer 3 courses for £15) and ‘Walking on Water; Faith, Art and Risk’, an evening of words, music and discussion with Jan
Carson, Jamie Neish and Steve Stockman at Canteen at 8pm.
