Children's Scottish Country Dance Day School 2016

Purpose of Day School: To promote the enjoyment/fun of Scottish Country Dancing for children and young people, by improving technique and performance under guidance of qualified teachers, in so far as is possible, a safe and controlled environment. GUEST RSCDS TEACHER: Marilyn Watson, Bournemouth

Cost - £1.00 per child

Child Protection Policy

The Branch has an approved Safeguarding Trust Child Protection Policy which has been drawn up in accordance with the Northern Ireland and Vulnerable Adults Order (NI) 2003. The Policy applies to all children and young persons participating at the day School. The Branch also requests the co-operation of all parents, carers and teachers in this matter.

Parents/Guardians should read and complete the relevant parts of the Registration form (RSCDS Belfast Registration form for Children attending a Scottish Country Dance Day School Class).

Day School Personnel

The personnel of the Day school consist of qualified Scottish Country Dance teachers and experienced volunteers who can be identified by their name badges.

Photographs, Video recording (including mobile Phones/tablets etc) and Press Photography:

In accordance with our Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Procedures, as far as is possible, we will not permit photographs, films, video or other images of children to be taken or used without the consent of the child and their parents/guardians or carers. Parents are asked to read and complete the attached Consent Form “Consent Form for the use of Photographs, Film or Video recordings of Children

Please also note that others planning to take photographs or videos during the Day School will be required to complete an application form, “Application to Photograph, Film or Video a Scottish Country Dancing Class Event or Activity involving Children”.
