Next Presbyterian Historical Society of Ireland lecture – The very Rev Dr Jack Weir.
The next Presbyterian Historical Society Lecture will be on Thursday 19 November 2015 at 8.00pm in Rosemary Presbyterian Church, Belfast, when the Rev Dr Bill Addley will speak on ‘Jack Weir – ‘Feakle traitor’, peacemaker, ‘Saviour of the PCI’, the cold church administrator, a prophet and evangelist’. He was the last PCI missionary to leave China, was a former Clerk and Moderator of the General Assembly and was actively involved in the Feakle talks of 1974 to bring peace to Northern Ireland.
