Runs to 31 August 2014

Lisburn City Council's Summer Programme ‘Park Life’ continues this Sunday!

On Sunday 31st August Wallace Park will host an Ulster-Scots music concert from Drumlough Pipe Band.  This event is free and open to the public.

Drumlough Pipe Band is from the town land of Drumlough. The Band was formed in 1950 and the first public appearance was in 1951. The Patron of the band in its formative years was Harry Ferguson (The inventor of the Massey Ferguson Tractor!).

“Wallace Park is a fantastic facility for all the people of Lisburn and what better way to enjoy the summer sunshine than to come along to Park Life during July and August.  There is much talk about holidaying at home these days and with so many wonderful events for all the family planned in Wallace Park, right on our doorstep, it is gearing up for a super Summer in Lisburn,” said Councillor Tolerton.
