Join us at Titanic Dock and Pump House for an action-packed weekend of Ulster-Scots activities for all the family from 11.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 24, Sunday 25 and Monday 26 May 2014.
Daily activities will include a Doodlebugs craft workshop, face painting, Highland dancing, live Ulster-Scots music and living history (don’t miss your chance to meet some famous Ulster-Scots characters!) On Saturday 24 May (11.00am) the Ulster-Scots Agency and Northern Ireland Science Park will officially launch the Ulster-Scots Innovators Gallery in the Thompson Dry Dock; a gallery of ten famous Ulster-Scots who made major discoveries, altered our understanding of the natural world and developed products and services of worldwide significance. On Sunday 25 May the Ulster-Scots Agency Juvenile Pipe Band will join the festivities and perform in the colossal Thompson Dry Dock.. a spectacle not to be missed! The Ulster-Scots Agency is working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Science park to provide a selection of family orientated activities at Titanic Dock and Pump-House as part of the Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival.
