Exhibitions in the, interpretive centre and foyer run daily 10am 6pm except Saturdays 2pm, closed on Sundays.

Exhibition in the FOYER, shall display the portrayal of buildings, ships, people, icons, royalty, religion and historical events. Using the medium of silk banners and flags this display gives an insight to each banner painter’s own unique style and interpretation. Artists to include Hewitt, Bridget, Robinson, Chesham and others.

Exhibition in the INTERPRETIVE CENTRE, to follow the many forms of Orange culture through print, records, tapes ,CD’S, video DVD, clothing badges, table cloths, drying cloths, calendars, dairies, pin cushions, photographs, artwork, books, pamphlets, brochures, postcards, guides, regalia and instruments.  An explanation of the reason, including design, production and manufacture of the most popular items. An introduction to the memorabilia and collectables market that has grown out of  the cultural period around July.  

Musical Recitals and Concerts, to held in the main performance space incorporated in the main hall.  All performances must include a wide range and variety of styles of marches, standards hymns etc.  No concert or recital shall merely consist of cultural music as has been discussed with the performers. Blue Star Accordion has since been disbanded and we are actively seeking a replacement band.

Drumming Workshops to be held in the main hall and foyer.

Poetry and Reminiscence, on alternative days in the Interpretive Centre or the Foyer.   The poetry shall be recited by Mr Albert Haslett (The Bard of the Shankill) and the reminiscence shall include Albert and invited speakers the theme covered shall be “Back in my day”.           

Tours, to take place on the Tuesday and Thursday of each week and shall consist of either the Shankill Graveyard, West Belfast Orange Hall, The Shankill at War or The Shankill and its artists.
