Scottish Country Dancing Classes
Across Northern Ireland over the coming months

Scottish Country Dancing is an activity in which everyone can participate to experience:

• the pleasure of social dancing,
• a variety of health benefits
• the buzz of becoming part of an international network of dancers.

Scottish Country Dancing in N.I. is done to authentic Scottish music and delivers stress reduction and often a good nights sleep.

At a Scottish Country Dancing ceilidh you could do party dances which everyone can try like the Virginia Reel and The Gay Gordons. When the party gets going Strip the Willow will leave you charged with energy.

In a Scottish Country Dancing class dances are done in a group or “set” (6 or 8 people). You can come along on your own or as a group of friends.
A beginner is quite able to complete a simple dance by the end of their first session. Every dance is made up of individual formations and steps which are taught in progressive order of difficulty with plenty of practice.

For you to find out about Scottish Country Dancing in Northern Ireland see
