DANCING FINGERS by Robert Watt and Emma Culbert. It was launched during the William Kennedy Piping Festival in Armagh last year when Robert and Emma shared the stage with world famous musicians such as Liam O'Flynn and Michael McGoldrick, as well as Breton and Scottish musicians in the Grand Piping Concert of the Festival.
It is hoped that this 15 track CD will appeal to a very wide range of listeners, it includes favourites such as The Rowan Tree, The Rose of Allandale and Highland Cathedral tas well as Traditional Pipe and Accordion compositions to virtuoso solo pieces like The Masons Apron and the title track, Dancing Fingers. The CD ends with a beautiful arrangement of 'I heard the voice of Jesus say' and then Emma's expert touch on her first instrument, the Piano as she plays her arrangement of the Londonderry Air. Certainly a diverse album packed with excitement and tranquillity played by Ireland,s finest piper and accordionist.
The Duo have already sparked great interest at home and soon they intend to tour Scotland and the Hebrides as well as the United States.
This can be purchased at any of their forthcoming concerts or by sending a Cheque for £12 £1.50 p&p to Robert Watt, 4 Tobermore Rd, Maghera, Co L'derry, BT46 5DS or calling 028 (00 44 28) 796 42194 to place an order.
