Trevor Wilson

Councillor Trevor Wilson was appointed to the Board of the Ulster-Scots Agency in December 2011.

Trevor is married and has three children.  He has been a councillor in Cookstown since 1989 and is currently Chairman of the Ulster Unionist Councillors’ Association.

 

Trevor is an active member of the Loyal Orders and is a regular attendee at Cookstown Methodist Church.

 

He is currently Chairman of Cookstown Enterprise Centre, Cookstown Arts and Cultural Committee and the Council’s Audit and Risk Committee.

 

Trevor is also a Board member of the Patient and Client Council, member of the District Policing Partnership and Chair of the Joint Committee of the Rural Development Programme.

 

In addition he is Vice Chairman of Cookstown High School’s Board of Governors and Vice President of the Mid Ulster Pipe Band Association.

 

He has long held an interest in the Ulster-Scots movement and is secretary of Cookstown Cultural Association.
