Pauline's hamelans

BALLYCLARE  woman Pauline Nelson discovered a new talent when she became the Ulster-Scots song contest winner in the Belfast Nashville Songwriters' Festival.

The Scottish-born mother of six has her family to thank as they made sure that Pauline's love of singing and writing songs in the home got the recognition she

deserved.

Her winning song Fareweel Celtic Hamelans is about emigration.  The contest was financially supported by the Ulster-Scots Agency.
