EAST Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell has received support from a range of MPs of all parties at Westminster for a parliamentary motion on Ulster-Scots cultural identity.
The parliamentary motion affirms: "That this House acknowledges the work done by all the groups in the promotion of the Ulster-Scots cultural identity throughout Northern Ireland; commends the growing interest in Ulster-Scots; expresses the hope that there will be a recognition of this on the international stage similar to that in the Southern states of the United States where much formal recognition already exists." |
