The Americans are coming!

During World War II, Americans came to Northern Ireland in huge numbers as military personnel who trained for D-Day, protected the trans-Atlantic convoys, and refuelled and ferried aircraft to forward combat bases. This July, Americans are on their way back.

The picturesque award-winning village of Broughshane in Co Antrim, is preparing for the arrival of Ireland's finest pipers and drummers when it hosts the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) Championships on Saturday June 4.

Legendary 1798 heroine remembered

Betsy Gray, the legendary heroine of the 1798 uprising, was remembered through the launch of the Ulster-Scots Agency's new historical leaflet - 'Betsy Gray - Heroine of the 1798 Uprising - Myth or Fact'.

New album from Robert and Gemma

POPULAR young Ulster-Scots musical duo Robert Watt and Emma Culbert have released a new CD which features well-loved tradtional hymns played in their own inimitable style.
