The Ulster-Scots Agency will be inviting local Ulster-Scots groups to come along to a series of roadshows so that changes to its financial assistance scheme can be fully explained.
George Patton, CEO, said: "A revised financial assistance scheme has been approved by the respective Ministers for the Governments of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland which governs the Ulster-Scots Agency grant funding mechanism.
"We would like to try and implement the revised scheme as smoothly as possible so that the groups, our customers, are not inconvenienced and can be kept up to speed.
"Accordingly, Agency staff will be carrying out a series of presentations throughout the Province to make representatives from Ulster Scots groups aware of their requirements when making an application and subsequent claim for grant assistance.
The venues listed below have been geographically spread throughout the Province and hopefully no group will have too far to travel.
It is important your group is represented at the presentation and the Agency will endeavour to issue a formal invitation to all groups from our contact list, with a return slip to confirm attendance/non attendance.
You can however confirm your availability to attend by contacting the office by telephone (028 9023113) or email info@ulsterscotsagency.org.uk having identified the venue which best suits your representatives.
Due to expected demand, the number of representatives from each group will be a maximum of two. The presentation will commence at 8.00pm and will not last longer than 1 hour 30 minutes. Tea and coffee shall be available from 7.30pm.
